Evaine Harper, a middle-class girl who is in 2nd grade, gets hurt by falling off the balcony of her house. Her family immediately takes her to the hospital and finds out that she had gotten a fracture on her leg and hand. Evaine did not cry or do anything a normal person would do if they had gotten a fracture on both their legs or hand and she was just in second grade! Later when the doctor treated her, she asked her if the fracture pained her but Evaine answered with a no. After this incident, Evaine goes through a lot of risky incidents but does not feel any pain, she does not even get that part swollen or the mark of that wound does not last more than a minute. Evaine turns 18. One day, after school she goes to a high building to feel the fresh air suddenly, by mistake, someone pushes her off the building, and while flying in mid-air, she turns into a dragon and falls down. Once she falls down she regains her human form. A movie was being filmed in that area and the camera filmed everything that just happened.
