Book 3 of the Valhireya series. This story is rated 18+.

It can't really be read as a standalone book, as it starts where October and April ended and carries on with the story for all characters.

This story focuses on Aurora's struggles to move on from the events that took place in the previous book.

Aurora battles with depression and anxiety and eventually ends up in therapy.

But just as she thought she could be happy again, things start to get messy as many secrets are unveiled.

Will Aurora finally find happiness? Will she choose the present or the past?

Evangeline is a young girl with a painful past which has left too many scars on her shoulders. Trying not to give up is hard, especially when she doesn't find the will to talk anymore. When fate takes her to the White mansion, she encounters a man who's set up to discover what she is hiding. However, the more he unravels her secrets, the more is Elijah White not willing to let Evangeline give up her life. *Excerpt* Watching her carefully, she darted her eyes in the room, looking for a way out because the door was behind me and she had to pass by me to reach it. I could see how her breathing became even more frantic and I cursed again under my breath, remembering now that I was standing before her, half naked, watching intensely a woman who was on verge of crying and screaming. I didn't even want to know how it would look like if someone else would come now in the room. My ego didn't miss the moment to show up and remind me that my body or my face didn't have the effect I wanted on this woman. Not even close. And the next second, I started to feel embarrassed. Very embarrassed. I didn't even know that I could ever use that word when referring to myself. I had to do something before this woman would faint right before me. Think about something, you idiot. If you were able to come up with this stupid plan, you should get out of it too. "I want you to help me put on a new shirt." Way to go, idiot. I couldn't think of something else but it didn't seem it worked because she eyed me suspiciously and now, I felt even more stupid. TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains strong language and mature themes of sexual abuse, drug use and death. These mature themes will be just mentioned a few times and I will distinctly outline those chapters. As mentioned, this book may contain sexual material but it will not be the main focus of the story. ****
