Who says life is easier elsewhere. Pia Jakobsen, a young lady has made her way from Germany to Italy. At just 23, it's not easy to start all over again alone in a different country with a completely different language. But Pia has, through her mother, Danish willingness to fight directly in her blood. The Danes have always fascinated her and, in connection with the love of football inherited from her German father, it didn't take long before none other than Joakim Mæhle caught her eye. Is he a possible reason for Pia's new start in Italy and how does an autograph fit into this story???

Sometimes to feel comfortable, one must experience a little discomfort and for Eva Valtersen, that was exactly what she needed. After being recruited in the Summer of 2021, the 21-year-old Norwegian midfielder decided to leave the comfort of her home country and make the move to her dream club in England, Manchester City. At City, Eva soon settles, finding new routines and traditions that fit around the noise in her head, and hurt in her heart. Through newfound friendships with Hayley Raso, Georgia Stanway and Keira Walsh, as well as frequent international breaks and tournaments with her best friends, Ingrid Engen, Guro Reiten, and Frida Maanum, Eva finds her supposed peace. That is until a derby match between the two Manchester teams rocks her newfound comfort. After the unexpected meeting with Ona Batlle, her world changes. Her mind changes. Ona brings out something in Eva that she thought was never possible: peace. In the mean time, Eva is there for Ingrid, while she is developing her own romance with the Spanish centre back, Mapi Leon, as she lives her life in Barcelona. Throughout all of this, Eva's brain continues to tick. Why did she consider her intrusive thoughts to be calming? Why was this all happening to her brain? And how come Ona was the only person who could make her feel better again? This Is Me Trying is a story about love, forgiveness and mental health, representing how the mind can truely affect the heart. The Story of Eva Valtersen in the Swiftly Pitched series

Ariane Nabor is a Filipino citizen who loves to travel. She began traveling back and forth when she was twenty-seven. She doesn't settle in one place. It was her first time being away from her hometown, and she's very satisfied that she's been able to go to five different countries in less than a month. Her next stop was in Italy. After more than a month of staying there, she came to the decision of visiting Canada and then rest for a year in her hometown before she continue wandering around the globe. She won't stop sailing... flying until there is no single country left on her list. It has always been her plan, ever since she started earning. But it was tough for years because financial problems disheartened her. Her plan was set. Her goal was crystal clear. She was firm... or so she thought. Ariane's firmness in her goal was tested when she met Matteo Emanuele, an Italian citizen who has a different perspective compared to her. He had never been anywhere except his country. For him, time must be valued and dedicated to important things like family. When their paths crossed, Matteo happened to make her heartbeat race. Her system got wrecked when her eyes found their way to his enticing face. She began having different and weird thoughts that greatly contradicted the principles of her mind. She was in between. Her heart wanted her to stay and settle in Italy to be with the man who made her feel spectacular emotions people called love, but her dream wouldn't let her. Her mind wanted her to go as planned. Her mind wants her to leave and continue the exploration. What will she choose? Which of the two would weigh more than the other? Her heart that wants her to stay? Or her mind that wants her to leave? Is staying with Matteo enough to make her happy, or will traveling still remain a jewel in her life? Will their story have a happy or heartbreaking ending?
