The cover was made by: @EllezaraRae Dedicated in loving memory of Bob Saget ❤ 1956 -2022 Prologue (book 1) It's been two years since Cynthia has seen her older sister Becky since her wedding back in 2017. The wedding was meant to be a dream come true. Talk about what would be the beginning of a perfect marriage, right? Or maybe.. just maybe.. it was always meant to be a nightmare. One she'd finally woken up from and realized she needed to be free, just like that... her "fairytale romance" came crashing down; mainly because Becky noticed that the bruises were starting to be in spots not so easy to hide. Two years of hell behind her, Cynthia moves in with Becky and Jesse, her brother in - law at their insistence. They want her to be safe and the Tanner house is the one place that can keep her that way, to hopefully start a new and better life away from her abusive past in Nebraska. You see, Cynthia wasn't exactly looking for love.. her ex was finally out of the picture and she was safe now. She made a vow to never get close to another guy ever again. After finally meeting the Tanner family, she easily hits it off with Danny Tanner and they instantly become friends, causing nothing but sparks to fly and a budding romance to begin. But what happens when Cynthia runs into her old high-school rival Joey Gladstone? Will they end up getting along or will their so - called bitter past, tear them apart? And just when you think that was a twist.. what happens when Cynthia and Danny grow closer? Will she end up breaking her vow and fall in love with Danny? Or will things between her and Joey find a way to complicate everything between them? Who will she choose? How will things unravel for all of them? Read to find out! 💛

"They say polar opposites attract." Natalie White thinks that's complete nonsense. As the mayor's daughter and the undisputed queen bee of California High, she's spent her entire life getting exactly what she wants. Feared, admired, and never challenged, Natalie has no intention of changing who she is for anyone. If being the villain in someone else's story means getting ahead, then so be it. But everything changes when Xavier Russo arrives. A scholarship student from Italy with a dangerous reputation and a permanent scowl, Xavier couldn't care less about Natalie's status, wealth, or influence. Unlike everyone else, he's not intimidated by her-and he's certainly not interested in playing by her rules. Xavier came to California High for a fresh start, not to deal with a spoiled rich girl determined to make his life miserable. Yet the more Natalie pushes, the harder he pushes back, turning their rivalry into an all-out war. She refuses to back down. He refuses to be controlled. And when two people who hate each other this much collide, sparks are bound to fly. Told through alternating POVs, The Mean Girl and The Black Eye follows two stubborn enemies as they navigate rivalry, attraction, secrets, and the scars of their pasts. The question is: will they destroy each other, or discover that sometimes the person you can't stand is the one you can't stay away from? ⚠ Warning: Mature themes, strong language, graphic fight scenes, violence, PTSD, and emotional trauma.
