Both have been upset those past fourteen years and have been contacting each other through phone because of their parents. They lost contact after eight years but regained it once more by email. One day, on Christmas Eve, Fury receives a surprise that day and is excited and extremely joyful but the next day, his ex-girlfriend, Luna, comes by and dampens his mood by making sure Fury is hers and no one else's
What's the surprise? Why is Luna being extra protective? And will she keep him to herself for good?

(A/N: This is essentially going to be a process of fixing + improving Lean on Us, a pre-existing fic on my page, as I'm not too happy with how it came out as the years go by. As this happens, (Y/N) transfers into Marinette's class upon being adopted by their uncle due to the sudden death of their parents. (Y/N) is still moving on and dealing with the repercussions of their mother and father's passing when Juleka introduces (Y/N) to Luka at their band rehearsal. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend. He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship. The story is set in the future, where children are trained from an early age, by the permission of their parents, (unless of course, they are orphans) to become Knights. They then become part of the military. Nina is such a child, who joined the V_ four years ago. She's infamous for her wild nature and blatant disregard of the rules and the Student Council. And then, by some blighted twist of fate, she finds herself a House Prefect. Enter Azerkin Schwann, suave, cool, mysterious and with a permanent train of fangirls. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath. And that's the least of her worries when Nina's fallen head over heels for Schwann. This is a work of fiction, and the characters introduced are purely fictional.
