Young Alpha, Katsuki, takes the throne of the Bakugo Kingdom after the sudden deaths of both his parents, the former King and Queen, and immediately he's challenged. King Endeavor gives Katsuki two options: surrender, lose his status and allow the Todoroki Kingdom to become the most powerful after overtaking his own, sparing his people of massacre. Or find a mate to become his Queen within three weeks, then King Endeavor will see how far Katsuki and his Kingdom will survive.

With no other option, Katsuki chooses the second one and seeks for a mate to assume the role as Queen. However, this is easier said than done.

Izuku along with only a handful of others are forced to retreat into the neighboring Bakugo Kingdom after the Tokoyami Kingdom is overthrown by King Endeavor just two days prior to the council meeting. Forced to leave his father-figure who raised him after his mother had died giving birth to him, his last words haunted him that he "must keep his power secret until the time came right." Unsure of what he meant, Izuku tries to settle into his new home when the King himself comes strolling into his world.

They make eye contact and suddenly, the two feel something they've never felt before.

Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone.
