Looking for a specific story PLEASE help

Hello,
First things first, I'm a dumbass. I acknowledge this. I'm looking for a specific story and I cannot, for the life of me, find it. I did not save it to my reading list. I've tried searching keywords and "recommended reading" stories on and off for probably 5 months. So, I'm going to shout into the void, give as much details I can remember, and pray for the best. If anyone could possibly help me figure out what this damn story is, I will forever be in your debt. You can't actually cash in on the debt, though, but I swear I'll be in it forever.

These are the details I remember:

There's a girl, she's in love with one of her best friends and she is fake dating her other best friend. They fake date because he's gay, and she doesn't want anyone to pursue her?? She's in love with the other guy but doesn't want him to pursue her because she doesn't want to ruin their friendship??? Something like that. His name is definitely Cole, the one she's dating. I think her name is Taylor, but no promises on that. On the night of Cole's birthday, he dies. Presumably by suicide. (However he doesn't kill himself, he's killed by his uncle?? And he stages his death as a suicide and blames the girl, in a letter I think. That doesn't come out until the end though so, sorry, spoilers) She moves away, for some reason, but moves back and all her friends hate her. Like a lot. Because they think she broke his heart and drove him to kill himself. But the best friend she was in love with was also in love with her, so romance ensues. He also ties her to a fence outside of their school?? For some reason?? Idk what that was about. They end up together, uncover their friend's death, and I believe the uncle shoots him maybe. He was fine though. Probably.
