Pyra Ketchum loved her young life in Kanto, but when she was only 3, she was kidnapped by a Team Galactic grunt who had been stationed there and whisked away to the Sinnoh region. However, a few days later, Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion, caught word of this, and burst into the Galactic HQ to free her. After doing so, she asked the girl's name, and learned it was Pyra Ketchum. It seemed she missed her family a lot. Cynthia decided to take care of her until she was old enough to start her own Pokemon journey. Fast forward to Pyra's 10th birthday, She was taken to Sandgem Town, where her first choice must be made.
(This is my Pokemon AU for my genderbend of my YouTube channel oc. This is also based on my Pokemon playthrough of Shining Pearl. And, I made her Ash's sister. If you don't like it, then this story isn't for you. Hope you enjoy!)

After failing to win in the Kalos pokemon league almost all of Ash's friends and even his own mother betrayed him and when he went to Professor Oaks lab to get his Pokemon he found out that almost all of them betrayed him as well even the newly caught friends from Kalos. Ash Ketchum is betrayed by those who he once considered friends. His mother disowns him saying he brought shame to her name. Pikachu was killed by Trip and reborn as a spiky eared Pichu with the assistance of a legendary Pokémon. Ash or better known as Satoshi Auralis Cameran is champion of champions. Ash now heads back to Kanto from a year of solitude training and with a tournament coming up who know who might show up. As far as I love pokémon I did not watch most of the episodes or know their teams very well. Please do not get upset if I mess up on something. I will also be leaving Team Rocket out as they drove me insane with their model. Thank you. Your Larvitar also grew a strong rivalry with her Gible while the two of you were spending time together. This is my first attempt at a fanfiction, so I would appreciate criticism and advice to add/remove some details so I can improve on the next chapter. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
