Cocoa was the name these scientists had given her. Being stuck in wolf form, she had long forgotten her name, her face, and her family's names. She was sure that this was her life for good until Quinton took her home. Anything would be better than the lab, and being outside would bring chances to escape. The problem soon becomes that she's torn between the FBI agent, Quinton, who's shown her more kindness than any other human before or her mate, the future king of the wolves, Damien. Being the only trained personnel at his state's FBI office, they assigned him the task of breeding and training the new species of wolf they found with close to human DNA. Being an ex-veterinarian, ex-zookeeper, and expert on wolves, he finds it hard to deny the fact that he is definitely the most qualified, but things get weird when he starts finding his neighbor stalking around his house. Damien and his pack had always been weirdly cult-like already, and now he feared they wanted to sacrifice his job assignment, especially since he was starting to fall in love with her. Damien was always fond of his quiet life out here in the countryside, and only one neighbor close enough to worry about was an easy life for this alpha. One day, his mate shows up as the neighbors new experimental pet. To fufill his role as King, he needs his mate and to fufill the hole in his heart; he needs her sooner than later. In this book, you are fate. You decide who gets their happily ever after with her. Does Quinton get to discover werewolf society with his chosen mate? Or... [2023 Wattys Shortlist, 2023 Amby Awards winner, Featured 4 times in Wattpad Picks lists] Kaleth has worked as an agent of Luxarx for years. What the average person might see as an exciting, dangerous job has become the routine, and the only thing that fazes Kaleth now is that his habit of wearing suits everywhere is somehow still a thing his teammates tease him over. But that's all about to change. An encounter with one unexpectedly peaceful (and cute) terrorist soldier brings everything he thought he knew into question. If not all Umbra are dangerous criminals, what else does Luxarx get wrong? As he investigates, Kaleth stumbles onto a conspiracy that doesn't just concern the agency, but also his government, and the whole world. There are monsters hiding in plain sight, secretly in charge of everything since the very beginning - the long-forgotten dragon-gods with supernatural abilities. And they are definitely not as mythological as everyone thought. Now branded traitors, can Kaleth and his team fight back against the government they once served, and stop a world war before it can start? --------------------------- [word count: ≈ 90 000 words] [Featured in Wattpad Picks lists: 'Extraordinary Realms ✨' in December 2023, 'Reading Radar' in January 2024, 'Celebrating Wattpad Hits' in February 2024, and Valiant Heroes 🏰✨🏔 in June 2024, and also on the @fantasy profile]

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! It hadn't occurred to Esme that she should be suspicious of her parents, they were just ordinary people after all. But when an unknown number won't stop texting her, the questions start coming. Was the accident really the cause of her amnesia? Why did her parents speak five languages suddenly? How was it that Esme could suddenly assemble and disassemble guns? Who exactly was Agent 23?
