Mabel didn't always have a sad life. Actually, for the first ten years, she was a spoiled child. Her father was alpha of the pack. Her father would buy her a fifty dollar T-shirt just so she would be happy.

It was always just Mabel, her father, and her twin brother Max. Everything was perfect for Mabel and Max. Until, her father was brutally killed in front of the twins in a surprise rouge attack. Everything went downhill from there. The rest of the pack that wasn't killed, which was less than 100 wolves, traveled to the neighboring pack. There, the alpha was mean and cruel. He used the pack members as slaves. Although most women wished the got stuck cleaning after him...he used them for other things. Unfortunately, the alpha saw something in Mabel and left the other women alone; just to have her.

Now she is fourteen and just wises that she and her brother could just escape. When another alpha visits the pack, will that be their chance at life?

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
