An orphan who knew nothing other than to survive in the big city of New York. Shadow is a very special creature , a transformite.  A gift from the god (Ashuna) a guardian that watched over the animals. She gifted humans the gift of animals to be protected and was passed down. Shadow is a special  and doesn't know it yet; came from a life of danger and moving around from foster home to foster home. One day her mother is no where to be found nor is her sister.  Shadow is on the mission to find her mother and sister.Until she meets someone she never would have thought could help her. Finding love was not on the agenda. Will she succeed or fail? Or find out the truth about her life.
