THE FURY OF GODS

In the kingdom of Gomorrah where a king is the living host to a god greedy for dominion on earth and women are deemed unfit for battlefields. Twenty-year-old Olivia Denali is happy to be the only walking contradiction, pursuing a career as an arena fighter and shattering unjust conventions.

When Olivia is thrown into the fighting pit as bait for some of the kingdom's most fearsome and respected fighters, it's a challenging battle until she is struck by heavenly fire. She becomes the first female Vessel to ever be chosen by the god of fire and fury for the commemoration of the Divine Tournament, where seven opponents must participate in a bloody battle of trials until only one remains as the victor to become the next divine ruler. Olivia values her own free will and the last thing she wants is to be a pawn in the gods' game of dominion. But Olivia realizes that the Tournament is the perfect opportunity to prove that like men, women can be great warriors too.

With mounting tension from cynics, assassination attempts, threats from those in a higher power who do not wish to see a woman on the throne and, dangerous opponents, Olivia is aware that the odds are stacked against her. If she is to win she'll have to outsmart the God-king who isn't above using his vestige of divine power to commit political treachery toward Vessels.
