U find someone u adore but alongside your comrades your attachment issues made it  hard for u trust anyone so easily..what if that nightmare is so soon to come. And it made u realize loving someone is easier than letting them go. U have to say it sometimes selfishness is the key. And u have to put yourself first..

I was lonely. After losing the one person that felt so important to you, you don't want to risk to lose another one, so you tend to push everybody away. That way, it'd be easier not to be hurt or to hurt anyone again. I had decided to live alone, and I honestly don't think I regret it. But when you see someone who seems to be what you are, don't you feel the temptation to talk to them so you could get the company you've grown to miss? And what about somebody that looks the exact opposite of yourself? Don't you want to know their story? I had made a lot of mistakes in my life. Getting close to people was definitely my worst one.

Broken. I'd say that's a good way to describe me. Even as the world fell to pieces, I still desperately tried to collect mine, hoping that maybe I could put myself back together. But when the world turned evil and dark, and insanity fell upon the innocent, I had no choice but to build a new Beth. A new girl. That way, no matter how many people I was forced to kill, I wouldn't shatter. Excerpt: The mistakes of your past will affect your future. I've figured that out over the years of mistakes I've seen bleed from my parents. I don't really know how to describe the consequences of those mistakes, because you can see them all over my body. You can see the bruises from the beatings and the pain flashing in my eyes. The moment you realize I won't smile at you because you're a man who could potentially overpower me and harm me... it's heartbreaking for some people. I've gotten used to the belt lashes and the screaming and the crying and the rejection. It all started when he accepted my friend request on Facebook. I couldn't believe that he actually accepted my friend request. I was so happy. I don't know why I was so attracted to him... I thought he was this nice and innocent guy but the more I know about him, I realized that he was beyond an ordinary innocent guy...He was much more than that... It's hard to fall for someone you're not sure will catch you. Why is that? Why do we get our hopes up sometimes, thinking that the people we love can catch us, when we ourselves can't even catch ourselves when we fall because of the pain they give us? We're the ones who keep catching them when they get hurt, it's unfair because they can't even catch us when we're falling head over heels for them... But my perspective changed when I found out that she'd been catching me all along, I just didn't know. Because I was so focused on protecting and being afraid of losing what we built together, our friendship.
