Running a poem parlor has it's perks, one of which is meeting all sorts of characters. This of course, requires people skills, and if there's one thing Da-Xia knows (aside from poetry) it's people. Once business is booming thanks to the visit of a particular Monkey King, Da-Xia finds herself faced with curious strangers who all seem to have on thing in common...
This is a work based off of the fan fiction "Journey to Somewhere New" by ghsjixv. It is in no way canon to her original work, I just had some ideas based off of something we collaborated on in one of her chapters. Da-Xia does belong to me, but she was created with the express purpose of being used by the author in chapters 22 and 23

Successor AU (Monkie Kid story)
Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. Watched 'Amnesia Rules' and one thing lead to another! I adored Sun Wukong's mannerisms and enthusiasm in this episode and I thought, 'hey why not make a lil fanfic based around a young Wukong in his Journey to the West?' so here we are dear readers. The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother.
