Running a poem parlor has it's perks, one of which is meeting all sorts of characters. This of course, requires people skills, and if there's one thing Da-Xia knows (aside from poetry) it's people. Once business is booming thanks to the visit of a particular Monkey King, Da-Xia finds herself faced with curious strangers who all seem to have on thing in common...
This is a work based off of the fan fiction "Journey to Somewhere New" by ghsjixv. It is in no way canon to her original work, I just had some ideas based off of something we collaborated on in one of her chapters. Da-Xia does belong to me, but she was created with the express purpose of being used by the author in chapters 22 and 23

I adored Sun Wukong's mannerisms and enthusiasm in this episode and I thought, 'hey why not make a lil fanfic based around a young Wukong in his Journey to the West?' so here we are dear readers. Successor AU (Monkie Kid story)
Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. She keeps her powers a secret with the idea that magic does not exist, and her empathy abilities are different compared to a diagnosis. She lives a peaceful life until she encounters the Monkey King which makes her question herself throughout the story. He helps her unlock her true potential, and during their time together they gain feelings for one another.
