Scar's always been known as the "little girl" in the McCall family, even though she is in fact one year older than Scott. Always has been treated like a baby because of her child-like features.

Derek has known her for quite some time now, since Scar and Cora have been best friends since diapers. He has always thought of her as a little sister, seeing as they were seven years apart.

Scar has always been fascinated with Derek since she was a kid. Always promising that one day he will be her boyfriend or someday, husband. Derek would always laugh and tell her that maybe sometime when she grows up. That was ten years ago.

Now ten years later she's a whole new person at eighteen years old. She's not the same little girl everyone once knew.

After Derek had been taken by Kate Argent and turned back to his seventeen year old self, he returns to Beacon Hills only to find that things are so much different than what he thought he knew.
