*This follows the events of my other story, WIDOW'S SECOND CHANCE (before the Epilogue)

It's the end of 1899 and Arthur has settled into his new life with Charlotte, but somehow he anticipated the eventual hitch in his happily ever after. The form it took was less expected as he soon discovers what happened to Miss Karen Jones...

Summary: ***this story is being revised on AO3 A story hidden in the past, no one really knows how Arthur and Eliza met. Despite its tragic ending, it had a beginning. One of love, hope, and an unknown future. Eliza Bloom was young and alone, recently made an orphan, and was merely trying to get by. Keeping any hopes and dreams that she once had tucked away, she worked long days as a waitress in the blossoming town's only restaurant in the wild, untamed West. Not being able to enjoy any of the pleasures a young woman was afforded, she had little time to socialize or see what the world had to offer. However, when a caravan of gold prospectors came into the town, she meets a tall, handsome stranger. She does not have any inclination as to how such an event, which was commonplace at her place of work, would change her life...and his. This is fanfiction expounding on the lore within Red Dead Redemption. I do not own the original characters or own Read Dead Redemption, which have been created by Rockstar. Eliza (Bloom) and Isaac are both my interpretations of the characters, as they were only lightly mentioned within the course of the second installment of the game's franchise. Alice Ford, Bethy, and additional characters that add depth to the story are my own creation. The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this literary work are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. Please note: not every installment is "mature," however, this is a fair warning that the themes in this story are appropriate for only mature audiences.

Vows of Returning: A Red Dead Redemption 2 Story ( Arthur Morgan xOC )

28 parts Complete Mature

Arthur Morgan x OC: "Take a boozy short leave of your nymphs on the shore, and silence their mourning with vows of returning, though never intending to visit them more." After a near-deadly shootout in Valentine, Arthur Morgan retreats to a wooded cabin to lick his wounds and recover. But the reclusive woman he meets there causes him to question everything he believes in, and all of the people he holds dear. Does she have secrets of her own that she's hiding? ** Hi all; this is a little RDR2 romance (Arthur x original character) story. It follows the events of the game for the most part (meaning there are some spoilers, if you haven't finished the game yet!), but there are some changes/additions. Of course, all RDR2 characters/settings are Rockstar Games. Hope you all enjoy and would love to hear your thoughts. This story was completed September 18, 2021. A content warning: depictions of sex, violence, swearing, and other mature themes.
