Camille (Cami) Hughes had a picture perfect life. She had a mother, a father, and an older sister. Her family wasn't rich, but they certainly weren't poor either. She was a good kid with good grades who always followed the rules, but that wasn't enough. Not for her family at least.

Cami's sister was perfect. She was beautiful, popular, captain of the cheerleading team. Cami could never compare, especially in her mother's eyes. Nothing she did would ever be good enough.

Cami acted like this didn't bother her, but how long could she keep it up?

Both teens struggling with their own inner conflicts, they come to realize that they are not so different from each other.
