Before Preps

This book gives the story of a smart but shy SHS 1 student name Richard with a simple life and excellent grades. He always had things planned out ahead of time and put in extra hours in his studies until he fell in love with one of the school choristers named Vida Brew.
Richard didn't know Vida also had a crush on him. He spent his entire life believing Vida was in love with Elvis, one of the famous first year B ball players and searching for ways to win Vida's love.
Studies became affected and Richard's grades began to decline. During the second visiting day of the term, Beck's mother counseled them on the effect dating in High school has on studies. Since then, Richard decided he would never allow his love affair affect his studies.
Vida on the other hand was waiting for Richard to confess his love for her. After many attempt to get his attention proved futile, she arranged a truth or dare prank to make him confess publicly.
