'Wrapping your arm around her shoulders you turn to her, "Hey babe. Are you ready to head home?"

She looks at you confused but quickly catches on to what you're trying to do. Glancing at the 3 men who have now slowed their pace but are still only a few feet behind her, she swiftly puts her arm around your waist, pulling you closer, and turns her head to look at you.

"Yeah, I thought I lost you for a minute. I called a car already so it will be here soon." You nod.

You both continue walking as the men stop pursuing you both. She keeps her arm around your waist, hand on your hip scrunching the bit of your shirt that it sits on top of, as you walk in silence a little while longer.

This is not how I expected to spend my night... But I guess it could be worse.'

Y/N, like every other person in the world, doesn't know what the hell they are doing with their life and it's only amplified by the fact they have these powers. They thought joining Alias Investigations would be enough for them to feel like there was a reason for all of the bad things that have brought them here, but they still feel lost.

Becoming one of the newest recruits to the Avengers team was an opportunity that they just couldn't pass up. Between coping with their past, trying to juggle their attraction to some very intimidating women, and going on missions, Y/N has a lot going on these days.

The Red Room. Black Widows. Little Girls. Many girls have walked through come and gone through these walls. 1 in 20 survive. Maybe. They went from psycologically controling these girls, to full on mind controlling them. Training them to be assassians for one person to be in 'control' of the world. They take their childhoods from them, they take their emotions, and most importantly they take their free will. Natasha Romanoff got out. She became an Avenger. She became more then the assassian they made her. Never looking back. At least not after she thought she destroyed the Red Room. But she didn't really destroy it. And when she left, she left her two "sisters" behind. "Twins". When they were younger, they were all part of a "family". Undercover, as the two older agents with them were there to steal something. The mission lasted 3 years. Natasha knew it was fake. But the 6 year old Yelena Belova and Olesya Aleksandrovna, they didn't know. So they got thrown into the Red Room. Not a clue in the world as to what was going on. "Mother" probably dead from a gunshot wound. "Father" watching as they were taken away. "Older Sister" trying to save them, but failing in the end. So they spent the next 21 years, mind controlled. Forced to be assassians. No freewill. That is, until an older widow, cracks the serum. Finds a way to get the girls their minds back. So, the family comes back together. To end the Red Room. Once and for all. || Black Widow Spoilers! ||

Disclaimer: All rights go to dearzoemurphy on AO3 who gave me permission to share their work -0-0-0- Natasha Romanoff is content with her life at the moment. Not much has happened since she moved into the Avengers compound, and she's okay with that. She spends most of her time helping the newest Avenger, Wanda Maximoff, hone her raw strength, which is no easy feat. Natasha's happy to help until both of them start to have a few unfortunate realizations. Like maybe that twinge in Natasha's gut is jealousy, and maybe Wanda has a thing for women who could kill her a million different ways. (Slow-ish burn, post-Age of Ultron, takes place between AOU and Civil War when the six new Avengers are living together in the compound.)
