A harsh knocking at her door startled Amelia awake. She quickly jumped over her coffee table, sweeping the dagger laying there into her hand. Whipping open the door, she thrust the dagger towards the  throat of the person on the other side, only to be met with a strong hand holding her in place. 

"Grayson?" 

Dark brown eyes met hers, "Amelia, I need your help".
