Tubbo is a son of Hades. Doesn't like it one bit. Yeah, maybe his best friend died, and MAYBE Tubbo was there. That didn't mean anything.
But he was fine with not having friends, really. No one bothered him, he got to do anything he wanted all day, leave dead rats in all the beds of every camper, if he wanted to. Except the Ares Cabin. He was actually on a "Immediate Beat-up" list, which probably existed.
He didn't care if he wasn't wanted. He just wanted to live.
Ranboo is a son of Hypnos. You know, the god of sleep that honestly? Probably works at a mattress firm. I wouldn't be surprised at all by that, actually.
The kid himself was an interesting character. He liked and valued lots of sleep, but was also quite a fan of the chaos that came with Camp Half-Blood. The counselor didn't give a shit (sleeping) and he was aloud to tag along (follow five feet behind) some Hermes kids, so life was okay.
People knew who he was, that was fine. He just got bored. He wanted new friends, so who's better than "Murder Kid?" No one is.

This fanfic is very dirty Percy and Annabeth are 24. This takes place several years after the Blood of Olympus ends. It's a reasonably smutty story-- so if that's not your thing, just find something else to read. This is also not connected to the TV show version-- I actually haven't even seen that. You're going to run into spoilers if you haven't read the books as a result of reading this fanfic. This fanfic follows Percy and Annabeth several years into adulthood. The Gods, self interested and guided by a mysterious prophecy, have a new agenda when it comes to the marital interests of their children. Old fashioned and ladened with suspicious motives? Yes. Is that of concern to the infamous Percy Jackson-- who is, though among other things, excited to finally get the green light to marry Annabeth-- but not quite in the way that you'd think. And see, that's just the beginning of things: following the halfblood marriage of the century, the bride and groom boat off on a honeymoon cruise only to be... well. That part isn't out yet. Can't spoil it for you now? Hm? What I can say is that it's dirty, has quite the surprise in it (and no, it's not a pregnancy surprise), and probably isn't for the faint of heart.
