When real dragons are discovered in the deep woods of the Black Forest in 1854, the secret Helebore Alliance is formed to protect them. Intelligent, ancient, eager for discourse, the remaining dragons no longer wish to burn cities and crops. For decades, they are safe. The popularity of fantasy literature in the 21st century such as The Lord of the Rings and The Game of Thrones puts them in danger when they are discovered . First, a national park and environmental agency is created to give them refuge but someone figures out how to overcome them and poach their valuable qualities. Now only Teri, the medical officer for the Helebore Alliance that has protected dragons for over 170 years, can save Pentagram, the last dragon, from oblivion.

The Superspecies Two: A Haunting Sci-Fi Horror Mystery
A young girl is brutally abducted by a bloodthirsty grizzly, forcing a group of scientists to mop up a genetic engineering operation that is out of control, threatening any and all who enter the woods. One question remains: are the animals really dangerous for no reason at all or does their enhanced intelligence simply make them recognize something damning about human nature that needs to be understood before it's too late? Harmonious coexistence with an emerging highly-intelligent species competing for dominance over the earth or total destruction of humans and animals alike? Those are the two options now. Two groups of scientific researchers are sent to a forest where bear attacks are frequent in order to study what is happening only to find themselves attacked and outsmarted (in part) by the animals themselves. Two environmental action groups also find themselves at odds over the fate of the dangerously genetically-enhanced creatures. One group wants to see the beasts wiped out completely and the other wants to preserve them at all costs, even at the expense of human life. The two sides are locked in an impasse, unable to resolve their differences in an amiable way which leads to ever-increasing tension, animosity, kidnapping and murder. Entire forests are quarantined in an attempt to control and contain the beasts but soon holes are discovered in the operation as key players start disappearing in addition to animals eluding their hunters, fighting back and changing the field of battle to their own terms. Ambushing their pursuers on more than one occasion. As the "pro-beast" and "pro-human" sides chase to their own interests with the unfortunate bears caught in the middle (struggling to establish themselves in a human dominated world), the animals learn more and more to rely on their expanding awareness to survive and thrive in an entirely new world...to evolution shattering effect!Terminé

The Girl with the Changewing Cloak (RTTE Fanfic)
Only the figure's eyes were visible, the rest hidden by a changewing cloak. Hiccup's jaw dropped as he realized. He knew those eyes. * The Dragon Riders have just defeated Johann, but before they can relax a series of slick attacks bombard the Edge. With no idea who this attacker is, or what they want, the Dragon Riders must think fast... and act faster. Who's attacking? Why now? Each answer provides more questions, but one thing's for sure: there's more to their attacker than meets the eye. That is, if you can see them to start with. Revealed by Toothless, the attacker hides in a changewing cloak, invisible. This is a type of foe the riders have never dealt with. Their previous adversaries preferred force and trickery- never stealth. Not to mention their motives were clear as day. But the Dragon Riders have more than one threat. Once again, the Dragon Hunters are rising, after a new power. With the mystery attacker hot on their heels, the riders must try to fight both Dragon Hunters and the girl with the changewing cloak. What will the hunters do if they access this power? Who is the girl with the th changewing cloak? Who will triumph? *** Ranks: 4 in Hiccup (4/9/2018) 1 in Dragonhunters (1-12/9/2018) 2 in rtte (5/9/2018) 5 in httyd (3/9/2018) 29 in Dragon (5/9/2018) *** This story takes place at the end of season 6 Race To the Edge - spoilers of the ending.
