He was hanging on a tread of his life. The room filled with absolute stillness. No one's watching. And he knows that it's time. He drew his dagger, and flung it across the room, only to find it returning right back into his chest as he faded away.

Prologue is not good, chapter 1 is better. Skipping the prologue won't make you miss anything, it's just something that will happen in the future
