What she doesn't know, is that she's slowly dying without him. Luke Williams lived with Amber, Evverrest, Bennett, and Carter in the famous assassin Andrew Barth's house until he was 20. Then he left with Bennett, Emilie and Joy to return the girls to their families. He tries to live without Amber, something he's never done. But he's empty without her.
