But Tygren is still alive. He is still out there, and he is still after the Prime Songs. 

After ten absent years, the maniacal Voltaris is beginning to stir, plotting to take back what he tried so hard to gain in the shadow of the Deathsinger, only this time he has brought backup, threatening to create a storm that no one will withstand.
