The Major and the Demigod (Twilight x Percy Jackson Fanfic)

Lydia Swan is the Greek demigod daughter of the goddess Athena and Forks Police Chief Charlie Swan and the younger paternal half-sister of Bella Swan. She is also one of the eight demigods of the Procephy of Eight.

After losing his daughter and getting a divorce, Charlie met and befriended a new police officer named Athena Illainus. She helped him get through his depression, which caused them to fall in love. Shortly after, Lydia was born on February 8, 1988, as a 'Brain Child.' Like all other children of Athena, they got taken from the thoughts of the goddess.

Athena sent Charlie their daughter, Lydia, to raise since she couldn't raise her. After she explained her situation to him, unlike other male mortals who tossed their demigod children to the side, Charlie happily accepted Lydia.

Lydia was only eight when strange things started to happen to her, especially after meeting her older paternal half-sister, Bella, in Summer 1996. She got attacked by many spiders at night, which caused her to develop Arachnophobia, a fear of spiders. Charlie quickly came to her room, and he started to shoot the spiders with his gun when he saw them.

Then monsters started to follow Lydia around, and one nearly killed her, which worried Charlie, so they left Forks and drove towards Long Island, New York, where Athena told Charlie that Lydia would be safe at a place called Camp Half-Blood.

Lydia and Charlie kept in touch throughout the years, only seeing each other whenever she had Quests near Forks and needed a place to stay. One day, Lydia was training her younger maternal half-siblings when she got called by Chiron and Mr. D about having a Quest in Forks to investigate a group of supernatural creatures called Vampires that lives in her hometown.

However, Lydia does not know the mess that would come after she agrees to do this Quest.
