Clary runs out of the New York institute, crying. Her runes dissapearing as if they were never there in the first place. As the last one leaves her skin, she stops in place, forgetting why she was even crying in the first place. With all her knowledge and information and memories of the shadow world gone Clary now has to start over. With no memories of what happened to her best friend simon and her mom Josclen and her dad luke, she sores in her new life. her new tiny apartment, her dream college, and her dream job. But a year later when a mysterious man walks into one of her showings, he catches her eye. She follows him out, and rembers one thing, his name... Jace.
