After losing her father in a tragic boating accident on the Atlantic ocean, sixteen year old Hilary Williams is sent to live with her mother Helena and her new family in the elegant city of Massachusetts. With its rich history, extravagant homes and top of the line health care and educational systems, it was a far throw from the poverty, crime and urban blights of Detroit in which she was raised.

Although she held a deep, unrelenting grudge against her mother for leaving her, Hilary agrees to move to Massachusetts for a fresh start. Her stepfather, Elliot Valmont, wastes no time in welcoming her into his home and Helena does everything she can to rebuild the damaged bond between her and her daughter.

Her step siblings Roxanne and Adrian however were a whole different story.

Valedictorian for three years in a row and president of the student body, Roxanne was the sweetheart of Woodcrest Prep that every girl wanted to be and every guy wanted to date. But behind her charismatic personality was a viper that won't hesitate to sink her fangs into anyone who rustled on her turf. Captain of the football team and vice president of the student body, Adrian was a notorious playboy; the aspiration of every guy and the fantasy of every girl at Woodcrest Prep.

"Shall we introduce Hilary into our inner circle brother?" Roxanne asked with a smirk as she leaned against the wall, her eyes pinned on the hazel eyed girl.
"I don't know sis, I'd love to see how she copes with it. But at the same time, I don't think she has the stomach for it," Adrian replied, his smirk mirroring Roxanne's.

Hilary was never one to bow her head and submit to anyone. Not her family, not society and certainly not discretion. She never backed away from a challenge either and this one was no exception. Screw being a good girl, screw appearances, screw the rules.

With a smirk of her own she perched herself up on Adrian's desk, crossing one leg over the other. "Five words: bring it the fuck on."
