“Never believe in what they tell you. The day you do…will lead you to your doom.” The rasping voice echoed throughout her mind.

The surrounding was enveloped by darkness as she continued to stare at the blood trickling off her hand and onto the lifeless body beneath her. The moon shone bright against the eerie dark sky. Life was still in the dark forest, even the wind seized to exist.

Thud...the heart hit the ground, echoing through the forest. Soft humming escaped her lips as her body moved silently into the forest. Pausing, the young woman turned and smiled as into the glassy pair of eyes…The cold familiar eyes of …

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

The breeze tickling my body was ice cold; I was stretched out on the ground, which had pointed stones mercilessly digging into my back, drawing beads of my blood Blinking my eyelashes rapidly to clear the fogginess in my senses, I tried to look around, but the blanket of darkness surrounding me didn't help I tried moving my hands, almost screaming when a sharp pain shot through my wrists which seemed to be bound with zip ties; panic flared through me when I heard rhythmic thumps of footsteps coming closer to my body Tsk tsk tsk, you look like an animal thrashing in its cage to get free when sensing danger I dreamed of bruising such smooth skin of yours in more than a thousand ways Sehrish A calloused finger closes around my chin in a firm grip and lifts my head; the darkness did a good job of concealing my abuser's face The angle made my body scream in agony "I asked one thing from you, just a thing, and you rejected me so bluntly that it bruised my ego, and now you just have to lay down there and face the consequences of your showcase of bravery" Something cold touches my cheek, and I flinch away from its cruel iciness The object digs into my flesh; a hiss comes out of me while the blood trails down in bizarre lines Spitting in the direction of the voice, I hoped that the saliva would fall on his hellhound face and say, "I was a fool to love a demon like you." 'Indeed you were because I never reciprocated the stupid feeling of so-called love, it made me sick to maintain the facade for so long, but now my patience is running thin.' He drops my chin and stands up I try twisting my body to maintain a far distance from his looming figure My struggles escalated when I heard the swishing sound of the pants zipper going down Stop, please stop, don't do this 'DON'T DO THIS. I SAID TO FUCKING STOP' *The Warnings: This book has dark themes, Read at your Own Risk*

"I did try to ask nicely and multiple times, I might add. The time for being nice has come to an end since it doesn't seem to work with you." He passed by the table and stepped down. There weren't many places for her to hide in here but the creature did tell him Amelia came into this room. "Please come out and talk to me." He waited a beat for a response but he didn't get one. "Fine, let me tell you a story. I used to be able to see the creatures clearly but an accident happened when I was younger that damaged one of my eyes. Now they're just blurry to me. But you . . . you can see them clearly and see rare objects. I want you to join me. Be my eyes." He waited again for a few moments for a response he still didn't receive. A thought occurred to him. What if she was hoping that he'd just leave the room? He chuckled quietly to himself in amusement. "I'm not going anywhere. But you know what? It's fine if you decline my offer again. Just know that if you don't come with me, you could come home to find that your parents are dead because of a work accident or some other natural cause. You wouldn't want that would you?" He paused just one more time and began speaking again. "If you come with me today, your parents won't have to die. I can keep them safe. If you don't give me an answer, I'll have my creature kill your parents now and I'll still take you. Do you want dead parents or living parents? It's your choice." Amelia came out of the bay window seat compartment. She was trying to hide her fear and anger. She didn't care what happened to her but she didn't want her parents to die because of her. She took a deep breath. "Fine . . . I'll come with you." He smiled smugly, "Smart choice. There's no need to be afraid of me. Your parents are safe now and I won't hurt you." "It's because you need me for my abilities." She said more of a fact than a question. She knew he wouldn't kill her because he needed her. "Correct. Now, let's tell your parents the good news."

She blocked the actual hit amazingly enough but her body couldn't possibly withstand the weight of a direct hit from someone that size, she was still a child, physics was a law. She was kneeled down as he showed up in front of her before she could catch her breath, she felt her jaw dislocate as his knee crashed into it. She fell to the ground and tried to warp teleport away but he held onto her. Pain and fear again even away from hell was this world really this messed up. "You're an interesting little girl so I will give you an opportunity instead of an execution. Join the Guards, work under my orders on missions, pledge your loyalty to the crown. He will still be locked up but that is his mother's wish. I have no control of those but I won't hurt him or you if you anymore if you agree. You can go to the hospital and get taken care of. Then just shake your head yes or no for now. Do you accept my offer or face execution the choice is yours." Isabella looked over at Kuro and turned a determined gaze back on Jamiston nodding yes as she pushed her jaw back into place and concentrated on healing the broken teeth, bones and cuts in her mouth. "Marvelous! I simply had to make you mine your strength can help me climb up the ladder in no time." His smile and the sound of genuine happiness coming from him made her sick. Pledge herself to him? Missions? What ladder did he need to climb? She shook her head. Whatever. She concentrated on activating her healing crysts even though she was exhausted, healing him and projecting her barrier at the same time had drained her faster than she had noticed now that she wasn't moving.

"The fuck you are leaving me." He snapped and growled at his mate. She was calm as she was ever be regardless of his snapping. She sighed and turned around to leave without saying something to him because it was worthless. There was no point in talking and especially to him. He grabbed her arm before she put one step. "Where do you think you are going Ara?" He growled so loudly as everyone shuddered watching their interaction. She quickly remove his hand as anger rolling off of her in waves. "Don't. Touch. Me. So you think I will live here and watch you mate and breed that female." She snapped at him. "She meant nothing Ara." He said after a minute. She laughed, literally laughed but without any humor. "That's why you were fucking her in your office just a minutes before, don't you?" "It was a mistake." He tried to reason with her. "But in your case mistakes happened in more than one time. And they said mistakes happened only one time." She said sarcastically. "I don't need her. I need you." He said again desperately. "Lies. All lies coming from your mouth. I feel disgusted just by looking at you, let alone talking to you. And you said you need me? Ha. Very funny. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you. This female behind your back is more enough than me. Breed her, mark her or fuck her. I DON'T FUCKING CARE." "I am sorry. I am really fucking sorry." He said brokenly as kneeling on the ground. A small laugh escaped from her lips. "Isn't it too late for that mate?" And she left just like that while single tear rolled down her cheeks. He had made mistakes. Mistakes that will cost him everything. He knew he had lost her and this time completely. She was broken. Again. He did break her, repair her just to break her again leaving a broken shattered woman but strong willed. ---------------------------------------------------- The cruel, sadistic Rogue Alpha and his caring, lovable Witch mate. "Don't even think about it." I stood frozen in place as he said those words from behind me, which sent shivers down my spine. The rain started running down my face as I started thinking of a way out of here. My body trembled in fear knowing that he could easily hurt me. I'm not strong against someone like him Thoughts raced through my mind as I tried to think of a way to get away from him. But there was nothing but endless trees around me. I blinked away the water running into my eyes due to the rain. My thoughts were disturbed when he suddenly spun me around to face him, his face just inches away from mine. "P-Please don't hurt m-me." I stuttered out. I tried to sound brave and not let my fear show, but my mouth betrayed me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. And ran. ~~~ Nora Brown, is a normal adult, living a normal life. Moving away from home to start fresh and meet new people. Just going where life takes her. Before I begin, I just want to say that this story does include some mature themes. I will also give out a warning a chapter prior to these scenes. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.
