This is my first novel and I'm very excited to see what I can do with this project. If my writing sucks I know I'm just starting out. So, I would love some constructive criticism.
This is my interpretation of Selina Kyle's( Catwoman ) origin story.
Selina Kyle is a teenager and she is starting her career as a thief but hits a speed bump as Captain Gordan sends her to Belle Reve in order for to heal through her troubling help.
This story is told through the eyes of the people that surround Selina Kyle. I thought it would be different and interesting. Let me know if you guys like it or would much rather prefer a 1st POV or a regular 3rd POV, or even a 2nd POV.

Jane a simple young woman who always does her best to stay away from trouble is distanced from Bruce after his parent's death. Although Bruce Wayne loves and cares for her he feard that every time he is near her only danger will creep behind her so when he becomes the protector of Gotham and the villains have discovered his soft spot his one goal is to keep her from danger. Even though she has other things planned herself. Beforehand marriage sounded like a great idea, but afterwards, she started to understand what just might change; Bruce would be happy, Selina wouldn't be able to be a criminal like she used to be, and she'd be a liability for Bruce. Suddenly, being on Bruce Wayne's arm held more responsibility than she realized. In a split second decision, Selina ran off to the only place she could go: California. She knew Ivy resided there ever since she left Gotham and she just needed a friend to confide in. And that was exactly what Selina did with Ivy...confided in her...among other things. However during Selina's time with Ivy, Bruce has been calling every day, trying to get a fighting chance of getting his fiancée back. Selina finds herself in between destroying old love for a new love or preventing a new love from getting too far to go back to an old one.
