Down to Earth: Izuku Midoriya x Reader

"How can someone so fragile looking have such a destructive quirk?"
"I can't tell you how many times I've heard that question."
(Y/N) (L/N) had been teased as a child for numerous reasons; whether it was her doll-like appearance, the late development of her quirk, or her strange obsession with flowers and birds. Of course, it never really got to her. On the surface, that is.
Her destructive quirk kept her from making friends as she got older. Maybe if she didn't cause mini earthquakes or raise massive walls of rock every time she cried or got angry, maybe her life would be easier.
When she got accepted into UA's Foreign Student Program, she was thrilled. Anxious, but thrilled. Maybe her life would finally start to get a little bit easier.
Spoiler Alert: It did not.
Izuku Midoriya always wanted to be a hero. Despite relentless bullying from his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo, or his very apparent lack of a quirk, he never let that stop him from dreaming about one day attending UA High School and becoming a pro hero in Japan. And until All Might made him his successor, that's all it ever was. A dream.
