When Fiona Murphy wins a spot at the incredibly competitive, magical Academy of Peculiar Artistry, she was expecting all the usual school stuff - her cool new roommates, Kelly and Devi, to be fun. Her classes are to be hard but not too hard, and best of all, the chance to hone her magical abilities! But when her magic goes too far, her perfect school reality falls apart. Her friends start acting strange, she falls horribly ill, and she finds herself saddled with magic so strong she doesn't know if it can be controlled. Through it all, Fiona is determined to survive, no matter how many people she has to hurt and push away to make it there. Please read, comment, and vote! It always brightens my day! This is my own original work. The cover is also my own original work (well, Canva helped, so, props to Canva!)Complete
Redemption's Song and other short stories
My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories. Enjoy. Comments and constructive feedback always welcomed.Complete
Witch Way
When a freak magic disaster unfolds in the middle of the world's largest city, hidden supernatural entities come together to solve the issue. Now, a month has passed, magic is no longer the hoax it was in the past. Disasters once chucked up as "unknown" are given a new definition: otherworldly. However, the current system fails in controlling and solving these occurrences. Meet Lanna, a typical black witch descended from a long line of wacky characters. Not the best choice for help when she's arrogant, shallow and presumptuous. But then again, how many choices do you have? Credit for the cover goes to @Lillian_JonesComplete
The World Above
