It's a story about our own favorite couple Arnav Singh Raizada and Kushi Kumari Gupta aka Arshi.
It's a story of a guy who is a love "failure". Thus lost interest in marriage and any further interest in girls but had to marry on the insistence of his mother. Though he agreed for the sake of his mother but determined to not give this marriage or that girl any chance in this relationship. Is it fair to punish an innocent who is not at all related to your past or broken heart? What is her crime in this? How can a girl with lot of dreams for her marriage and husband can cope up with this?

Blinded by misunderstanding and anger, Arnav forces Khushi to marry him on the night of his brother and her sister's wedding. He makes it clear that they will be together for only six months and this whole thing is nothing but a contract to him - Neither will he ever accept her as his wife nor will she ever attain the status of his wife. They will be nothing but a pretense of a happily married couple. Then something happens. Something that shows Arnav that the truth is not always what we see but some times, it is something that we fail to perceive with the naked eye. And with that realization - heartbroken and guilty - Arnav sets on the path of redeeming everything he messed up. ___________ Author's note: This story has gone through a heavy editing. I was unsatisfied of the way I wrote the story - both the language and character development seemed weak to me. This is why, you can call this version the revised version of Daayre. While the main plot has remained the same, I have essentially changed few scenes completely. The characters, in my opinion, are now far more stronger and better. The day meant to be the best day of her life had turned out to be the worst one. Celebration of love and harmony, which the night was supposed to be, ended up as the witness to bloodshed and hatred. With the stench of corpses choking her and the sight of mutilated bodies shattering her, Khushi stood benumbed, decked up in exquisite bridal finery, and the signs of a newly married woman shining brightly against her paled demeanor and the blood which had splayed against her; the blood of her own, maybe of her own father. Her father's lifeless body was strewn across several others and her mother's breathing yet lost body hovered over his; her hollow and teary eyes pleading him to rise and embrace her but her efforts were in vain. But that was not the only agony killing her from inside. The affliction of betrayal, from her own husband, on the wedding day, after reiteration of his love from the passionate ministrations on their first night together, felt like the worst nightmare coming true. From the pieces of her broken heart, the resolve to avenge arose and Khushi Gupta was not the one to let her heart's desire be unheard. Deceit for a deceit, eye for an eye, heart for a heart, so what if the world ends or goes blind?
