Luz Noceda is a 18 year old human on the Boiling Isles. She starts studying at the most popular school called Hexide. Her goal is to learn magic and return back to her mom, but sadly, her life takes a wild turn when the evil emperor Belos is trying to enter the human realm. He took her last chance of getting home, but did he really?
Luz mets a lot of amazing people at Hexide, including one student that draws her attention. The top student - Amity Blight. Luz tries not to fall in love for anyone, because she knows she won't stay in the Demon Realm for too long, but the feelings are too strong.

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life.
