Y/N is a half-elf, born from a line of silver elves, and heiress to her family's fortune. Sadly, her family despises the way that elves practice their magic. Though her mother was forced into an arranged marriage where she wed a silver elf, her husband didn't stick around any longer than he had to. When he was given the chance, he fled back to the woods where he was born, returning to his kin and leaving his daughter in the hands of her very human family.
But one day, Y/N receives a mysterious letter from her mother, informing her that their home is under attack from invaders with magical skill that far surpass their own. Y/N has no choice but to flee to the forest where her father resides, hoping that she might learn enough magic to take back her home.
