It Doesn't matter much to fourteen year old Anna Everfree. All that matters is her school work, and a persistently irritating boy, until she nearly loses her father to a raid on one of the last Anthraxean territories. To make matters worse, She begins to change, mentally and physically. A secret kept from her her whole life will shatter her trust in her father, and her own kind.
