Dream didn't mean to create a child out of sheer force of will. Honestly. It just happened. Now he has a kid to take care of, an enemy blackmailing him using said kid, and a fiancé he wants to earn back.
Or in which the wedding fiasco never happened, there's an evil dude running around threatening babies, Dream is a tired father, and Funny doesn't know what the f*ck he's going to do. Also some Sbi family dynamic. And Techno trying to deny said dynamic.

How the world works
How does the world work? Well, some people are strong, powerful, smart, or manipulative. Some are even all 4! People who can be on top stay on top and they use their gifts to get them there. But some people aren't strong. Some people are weak. Some people are naive or are less than smart. And some, well some are all 4. These people are at the mercy of the world and rarely, if ever, get even a chance to climb to the top. And that is simply how the world works. Now, if enough people band together, they can overthrow those who have the monopoly on power. This happened in the final disc war. But what if it hadn't? Dream had the teens cornered but in this world, no reinforcements arrived. So dream won. And that is simply how the world works. Ok. It's dsmp. Anything already in it may or may not appear in this fic. And if it does, it will be dramatized. This includes self harm, suicide, attempted suicide, drugs, murder, abuse in all forms, gaslighting, starvation, beatings, gore, imprisonment, torture, depression, dark thoughts, dark subjects, non bbh approved language, spoilers for the (early) dsmp, and more. I'm not putting tw in the actual chapters themselves because A) I will definitely forget one at some point and B) it's a huge spoiler to do so. But these themes are throughout the story. You have been warned. Not saying anything about the content creators, just the characters. Not suggesting that irl dream should go traumatize children or anything. A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. The Sleepy Bois Inc, featuring Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur, and Tommy, all for better or worse find themselves in the same orphanage, with no hope of ever being adopted. But, what if they don't need someone to adopt them? What if they can adopt each other? A lot of fluff, I guess some angst, idk, absolutely no smut or romance of any type (like literally no one is even shipped, so...) (Ok yall, that wasn't a very good description, but whatever. A teenage boy is running from the law. A large bounty is over his head, and five Hunters are constantly chasing him, determined to get the money. It all changes when Dream gets wings. Now everything that he knew about life is upside down and twisted. As he is a magpie, his "bird-brain" takes over when he sees anything shiny, and he immediately wants it. It also pops up during great emotion, scattering his usual calm and cold reactions. His wings are tiny, not yet full grown, like they should have been because most avians are born with their wings. He doesn't know who he is, or what to call himself, and he no longer feels safe with the sudden new dangers around him, especially with his fresh wings to take care of. And now he is forced to play in a harsh competition of something like Minecraft where he has enemies from day one. At least he has Techno, his partner, who is only three years older than him, but he can't help but feel like the pink-winged avian could be a father. One of the worst things that happened to Tommy and believe me, loads of bad things has happened to him. But being stuck in a single place, far away from his friends and family and with a blob that has taken two of his canon lives and who may have plans of his own, has to be up there in Tommy's list of Worse Things that Has Happened to Me. So he ran away. Whether he snuck into Technoblade's house was intentional or not is honestly up in the air to debate. But when it came to it, Tommy had two choices. To stay with his supposed elder brother who is not dead or go back to the people who turned their backs on him. He picked the first choice.
