"If you are to be my wife, why shouldn't I look?" She asked with feigned innocence. I glowered. "I thought you didn't want to be a toy?" Her eyes narrowed, a smile pulling at her lips. I was consumed by her. -- Brin waited for this day to come. The day she would meet her human bride. She imagined a beautiful encounter, love at first sight, a magnetism like no other, but her future bride, the warrior princess, Alvena, had a much different view. Fae and humans were not alike.
