Inara'a Brae always knew that her future didn't lie with the Sisters of Sybulla. She might have grown up in the order of force sensitive seers, learning and perfecting the craft, but all her life Inara'a's dreams told her there was another place for her in the galaxy - desert sand under twin suns and a cloaked man with sad eyes and the weight of the galaxy on his shoulders.
So she leaves the safety of the sisterhood and trades the lush, green planes of Sybulla for the desolation that is Tatooine - waiting for her destiny to claim her.
But before long the woman, who has dedicated most of her life to the mysterious workings of destiny, dreads the day she'll have to chose between the life she's been promised and the life she has made for herself...

The main emphasis of this fic is on friendships and how difficult being a jedi would actually be. Facing ptsd, depression, and the high expectations of a jedi padawan, Nerine fights to find balance within herself amidst the chaos..
