Crosshair and Iden take off on their first solo mission together for the rebellion, heading to Raxus to investigate the increased Imperial presence there. They expected to confront stormtroopers, not their pasts and the ghosts that still haunt them.

**This story takes place after "Guarded" and in parallel with "Reunion" (with some overlap), so if you want to read those two fics spoiler-free, I'd recommend starting there**

Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
