Being a hopeless romantic has never faired Eden Holland well. For all her expectations of being swept off of her feet, to public declarations of love and swoon worthy date nights beneath the stars, she's suffered only broken hearts, failed first dates, and a long list of let downs. Still, she dreams of her own cliche love story, and when an exchange of texts begins with the nameless man she saw at a bar, she is quick to fall head over heels.
Sebastian Walker is a charmer, and he knows it. He has been since his teen years, when he spent most of his time flashing a pearly grin at the girls in the corridor, splashing on dates every other week, and letting them down easy and gentle. He hasn't changed much, and for all of his weekends spent tangled in a different girls bedsheets, he's still never called one back the next morning. Yet, when he's left a mystery girls number in a bar, and her replies are nothing short of uninterested, he cannot help but press send.
But is it love at first text, or will the serial dater and the love story singleton be a recipe for disaster?

#2 in mature, slow burn
This book can be read as a stand alone, but character cross overs occur from my first and second book, 'Mr and Mrs Nemesis' and 'In Drunken Matrimony' respectively.
Buckle up for the cliches, foul language, and the stuff that means I have to rate this book mature.

"I'd met my match with Sebastian. He was just as much of a loner as I was-maybe even more. We were the only two members of the anti-social social club. It met every Wednesday: under the covers of Sebastian's bed."
Stella's memory of Stardew Valley isn't the greatest and she swore she'd never return. But when her father wants to sell her grandfather's farm, Stella reluctantly agrees to buy it off him, afraid that her memories of the valley will disappear altogether if she lets it slip away. As she returns to Pelican Town, the gaps in her memory start to revive as she meets new faces, and reunites with old ones.
Her first friend is the extroverted, blue haired Emily, who becomes Stella's key insight into the lives of her neighbors in Stardew Valley. Her first crush is the easy-going, adorably clueless skateboarder, Sam, who she runs into on her very first full day in the valley. Sam is everything Stella is not, and maybe he's what she needs-someone to counteract her melancholic, reclusive personality. But when she meets his dark haired, moody and pessimistic friend Sebastian, who is the complete opposite of Sam, she becomes enthralled with him, wanting to crack through his tough exterior to see what lies beneath. Sebastian is everything she wants, but knows she doesn't need. She knows how he is, because she is the same way. He's like a carbon copy of herself and that only intrigues her more. She knows he's like poison, but the way he makes her feel becomes like an addiction. Will Stella let the skateboarder with a heart of gold melt her pessimism or will she meet her match with a guy just like her?
