The lost son of Galmora, Caspian, son of Orion, and the enchantress from beyond the stones, Caia Hicks, meet purely by accident. She's been alone her entire life, abandoned and neglected by her own parents. He's been frozen in stone for years after being betrayed by the one that he loves, grieving for the family that she killed. She is desperate for love, he lives only for his revenge. Learning she is an enchantress doesn't startle Caia. Caspian, however, is scared by her ability to wield her power without any trouble. Enchantresses, blessed by the goddess with powers over stone, lose their minds to their power and he fears that the ease at which she uses her power means that she will do more damage than the enchantress that killed his family.
