Finn and Sera Avery, two siblings caught in the middle of a galactic war zone make their way through the muck madness left in the wake of two superpowers vying for control of the galaxy. With nothing but a heap of junk to haul them from place to place, and the burden of underworld connections, they simply try to do their part in relieving worlds that have been scourged by war.
With the Republic too busy clashing with the Empire to notice the damage being done in their conquest to wrest control from an unjust faction of warlords, mercenaries, and Sith, it's up to Finn and Sera to make their mark on the galaxy. Or is it simply causing more trouble than they can handle? They're about to find out in this short story of struggle and near-hopelessness.

My heavy, uneven breathing filled the dark room as my breath began to quickened at the predicament I was in. Lost Hope
(Book 2) A year has gone by since the First Order failed to get the map that would take them to Luke Skywalker. Kylo Ren has continued to train Zeh Skurn in the ways of the Sith, determined to get revenge on the Resistance and that scavenger Rey. The Knights of Ren have gathered at their base in preparation for the final strike that is to come once Skywalker is killed and Snoke's arrival is nearing. *Hearts of the Inquisitors, Episode 1, is the prequel to my original Hearts of the Inquisitors book, which acts as a companion piece to the game Jedi: Fallen Order* Set one year before the events of Fallen Order, the Empire is rising to it's prime, ruthlessly hunting down all remaining Jedi in hordes. At this time, Vader was already training four apprentices. But his most cunning student was a young, garish human named Cor Shan. A former apprentice Seeker for the Jedi and incredibly gifted with the Force, he was now a Seeker for the Empire. Vader utilized his unique ability to track Jedi in his mind as if it were his own, sending Shan to lead almost every crucial mission the Empire had involving high-profile Jedi. This resulted in the immediate captures and deaths of countless knights across a very short time period. However, one task continuously eluded the Dark Lords: eliminating a brand new syndicate which now stands as a threat to the Empire. With a recent devastating attack on the Empire, Vader had learned of a new shadow organization known as the "Black Gora," a very robust cult created by an alliance between the Black Sun and the remnants of the Bando Gora, a Force-worshiping cult formally lead by High Priestess Komari Vosa in the final years of the Galactic Republic. As Sidious had informed Dooku long ago, the Bando Gora were a threat to his will which needed to be eliminated. Although Vosa is dead, her vision is not, and now it has been set lose again to infringe upon the Empire. Alder Solo, brother to Ben Solo, son of Leia and Han. He witnessed the massacre of the new order of Jedi, barely escaping with his own life as he fled. A coward, always the coward in the family, not like Ben had been. Alder couldn't even use the force, though his skill with a lightsaber was admirable. Now he has an opportunity to redeem himself and bring his brother back to the light, will he be able to accomplish his task and learn to accept his lack of the Force or will Kylo Ren destroy him completely? Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
