After having a meeting with his long time friend and CEO of the supplier for his business, Robert Godlard, Robert is found in his office stabbed to death. Blood splatered on Mr. Wrema's hat and a knife from his office used as a murder weapon cause Mr. Wrema to become the prime suspect of the murder. Phoenix Wright, upstart defense attorney with no losses catches wind of the case. With his partner Maya Fey, the younger sister of his late boss Mia Fey, out of town on an important trip, Phoenix decides to take the case alone. After meeting with Mr. Wrema and taking a look around the crime scene, Phoenix feels that something isn't right.
