This is considered the 3rd version of the story, I am editing the 4th version for publication. The official book is planned to come out somewhere around 2026-2027 but I still have to finish the manuscript. I posted this story on RoyalRoad and Fiction press, I haven't looked at either site in years. A life full of joy and tragedy, Vila's story begins with the very person she despises. Thankfully, a man by the name of Sommi rescues her from the clutches of her master. Years go by with her bubble of ignorance to what goes on anywhere else and she lives happily on the outskirts of Kai village. This all changes when she comes home from the market one day to find her little hut ransacked and her hero, Sommi, gone. A man named Vensen haunts her every thought as she travels the country of Aishy and the void itself in search of her father figure. Many strange and horrifying events take place as Vila also encounters revelations of who she is and the family she comes from. *FINISHED!* (just edits being made now) -11/23/25 I decided to unpublished every chapter except the ones that are updated, I have been working to edit at least 1 chapter every day, don't know how long that will last, but I've been doing it for 3 days now -2/25/26 Aspen has lived in the castle her entire life but that changes on her sister's 16th birthday when she meets Jay and Gabe. Gabe can be kinda annoying and Jay doesn't talk much, but for Aspen's first friends they are perfect. When Jay reveals a scheme that changes Aspen's life forever, they help her escape the castle. They are now on a mission: to stop her sister, and save the kingdom. What she is planning, not even Aspen knows. I would also like to credit my friend who helped me write this.
