"You can't lie..." Charming growls lowly that it sends shivers down Pinocchio's spine then to his wooden problem, Pinocchio gulps nervously and somewhat in arouse. The prince's gloved hand lift the boy's chin and their eyes meet. He leans forward, their lips just inches away from touching, then whispers, "...puppet."

"I did want to see the world...but I realized he is the most beautiful thing the world has to offer." Pinocchio sorrowfully mutters as he watches Charming practice his sword-fighting skills from the distance.

The story takes place after Shrek 1 and in the beginning of Shrek 2 - while Shrek and Fiona are getting ready for their honeymoon week, Prince Charming is already preparing to rescue his princess from the dragon-keep tower but then stumbles upon a particular wooden boy.

Once we are alone, he turns to me, "We need to work on your acting skills. How can a commoner be such a bloody awful liar? Don't you learn that when you are infants?" "Oh, I'm sorry I don't lie for sport like you lot! I let out before taking a breath, and with a little less force I add, "the King bought it didn't he." "Barely," he grunted. My head snapped back at him, I was fuming. We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. It all started when I ever so gracefully (but accidentally) tripped over a cupboard box (which in my defence, I never knew was there) with the words: 'Fragile - DO NOT TOUCH', written in black marker all over the box. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I?
