The prince's gloved hand lift the boy's chin and their eyes meet. He leans forward, their lips just inches away from touching, then whispers, "...puppet."

The story takes place after Shrek 1 and in the beginning of Shrek 2 - while Shrek and Fiona are getting ready for their honeymoon week, Prince Charming is already preparing to rescue his princess from the dragon-keep tower but then stumbles upon a particular wooden boy.
