Jessica Simmons lived a happy life in Los Angeles, California. That is until her younger brother died in a car accident that she had to witness. His death sent their entire family into a spiral and she was forced to deal with major nightmares of that night that haunted her.

Finally, she decides to take a break from California and take a summer vacation to Miami, Florida to figure herself out and start putting together the details of her dream job. To run a bakery.

Jasper Derelli is the CEO of a major corporation that his father handed down to him. He has so much resting on his shoulder daily, including the needs of his five year old son, Liam. To make things more difficult, Liam's mother isn't in the picture, leaving Jasper to take care of him on his own.

With work building up and Liam's need for attention and love growing, Jasper makes the decision to hire a nanny to take care of Liam while Jasper's working.
