I bit my lip, and opened my mouth but the only word that came out was

He just stared at me. He stared at me like i was stupid, like i just slapped him across the face.
I guess i deserved that look. I had chosen to dance the dangerous dance with love and it seemed like i was majorly messing up the steps.
