The Legacy

The Earth is frozen in place. No longer rotating, no longer revolving. People are dying from The Change, but those who live become part of the Legacy. The evoloved version of the Human species, and for Gwendolyn Hartwick, this dieses affects her whole life. Like the rest, Gwen is marked. Her straight brown hair turned auburn and frizzed. Her tan skin paled overnight, and she has these strange markings along her back. She, like the others, was sent to the West to ultimely die. What happens when Gwen is united with the rest of the Legacy?
