Anisa Rose is a high school student with a fairly normal life. Up until the day after her 16th birthday, everything was pretty much completely normal. Her friend's and her household was as average as a foster home could get. 
But, another world begs for her attention as strange events and new abilities start appearing in her friends. Events that once were in her control, have spiralled into something she could never imagine
